We compute a SHA-256 fingerprint from the exact bytes you sent, then encrypt the file at rest with AES-256-GCM. The fingerprint is what gets sealed — your content stays private.
Every 30 seconds we batch fingerprints into a Merkle tree and commit the root to Verilink’ed — the same append-only chain Guardrails uses for AI calls. Alter anything and the chain visibly breaks.
Retrieve the original file anytime. A deep-verify check re-hashes the stored copy and compares it to the sealed fingerprint — a byte-for-byte guarantee, not just a claim.
